This special variant of our PEA COAT ran for several years as a Wholesale only offering until the prized NOS USAF (1982) 100% Sage Sateen Cotton, Waterproof and Flame-Retardant Finish, became too scarce to offer any longer. Lined in amazing OG Cotton/Nylon Oxford, Quarpel Waterproof Finish. Genuine USAF melamine buttons. Just wonderful high-performance outerwear and ultra-hip boulevardier. Water wicks right off it. Originally designed for use during aircraft fuelling, hence the fire-retardant capability. Special, special!

Our HUNTER JACKET has usually been made in Bush Poplin or Sage Sateen for customers but we were so knocked out when we sourced this really special Cotton/Nylon Oxford Blend that we immediately did a run in it for wholesale customers. This fabric combines wonderful comfort and drape with superb outdoor performance. The Quilted Shooting Patch and Pocket Bellows are actually Pale Lime, not accurately captured in the shots here. Our now extinct Military OG Cotton/Nylon Lining, Quarpel Finish -- virtually impossible to tear, you have to puncture it with a knife (kids, don't try this at home) -- adds superior comfort, durability, hand and water repellency. Awesome looking and carries as much as a C-130. Soft as down.

Only a handful were done of this ultra-cool TANKER JACKET in OD Military Cotton and a fantastic 100% Pure OD Camel Hair Lining. It really is a misnomer to call the Camel Hair a Lining since it's coat weight. 100% Wool Knit AND a fabulously rare orig. NOS Waldes Brass Zipper dating to the 1950s. The pictures speak for themselves. One-of-a-kind.

This SAFARI BUSH JACKET is a Brand New example of our 1st generation design, differing only from current production in having merrowed (see below) rather than closed seam construction. All current materials and specifications. A great opportunity to pick up a perfect LOST WORLDS Bush Jacket below manufacturing cost. These are very full in fit and this size 52R will likely also fit a guy who wears a 54R as well.

The LOST WORLDS TANKER REVERSIBLE JACKET was very well received among our Japanese clients in the late 1990s although, it must be said, the price was very high due to manufacturing difficulties and material costs. In order to assist a depressed market, we elected to design a TANKER that would set new marks for flexibility and innovation. On the outside (or inside, depending on your preference) 100% Tobacco Brown Corduroy Cotton, Wide Wale. Turn it inside out and a complete, fully-detailed TANKER in amazing Military Ballistic Nylon, Foliage Shade (Watered, Muted Camo). In Japan this side got the most use and attention! The knit is our fantastic 100% OD Wool, unequalled anywhere. Double biswing backs. Brass Talon Zipper. An exclusive LOST WORLDS design, ours alone. (Except we lost money on it!)

The SWINGER JACKET hearkens back to the 1940s and 1950s, when virtually all quality fashion outerwear was made of wonderful 100% Pure Rayon Gabardine, unequalled for silken feel, softness and drape. Cotton can't even approach Rayon Gab in hand and texture which this ultra-hip SWINGER combines with scarce NOS Rayon/Wool Blend for the quintessentially retro Red/White Pinstripe front. Unlined, Peek-a-book front pockets, elasticized waist.

Another LOST WORLDS lightweight adaptation of one of our classic leather designs the DOWNTOWN CAR COAT. This version offers a host of interesting detail updates and twists. The fabric is wonderfully soft and draping Cotton/Nylon Oxford in Pale Lime, so comfortable it feels like the sheerest pure Cotton (customers are always amazed there's Nylon in it). But the Nylon gives strength, shape and a silken undertone. This just floats on you. To raise the bar of uniqueness, we made the pocket flaps and facings out of genuine Basketball Horsehide -- that's right, we had our tannery emulate the grain of basketballs just to see how it would look. It came out perfectly. So damned cool. We added epaulets for a military look as well as field use if you wear this for hunting. And our now-defunct, indestructible, waterproof Military OG Nylon/Cotton, Quarpel Finish, Lining. All these specs. made for an expensive lightweight car coat and economics prevented us from selling enough. That, of course, is no indication of the MILITARY DOWNTOWN's inherent attraction and quality. Definitely not your fashion flavor of the week.

Here's a real LOST WORLDS oldie but goodie, from an overseas order in 1994. Our RAIDER FLIGHT JACKET in 100% Cotton Corduroy with 100% Cotton Poplin Lining. All the stock Raider features but with a different vibe in soft, comfortable corduroy. Vintage Brass Talon zippers.

A truly interesting A-1 Flight Jacket Variation we made in very small numbers, combining the classic 1926-31 A-1 design with larger, sharpened pockets that evoke both commercial flight and work jackets of the period. The shell is 100% OD Cotton Military, lined in 100% Khaki Cotton Twill and, of course, the knit is matchless LOST WORLDS 100% OD Wool. Buttons are WWII US Army Melamine. Extremely lightweight and comfortable and the style is unique to LOST WORLDS.

We just found a few leftovers from an old run of unlined Black and Russet Horsehide Motorcycle Vests we did for a European shop in the late 1990s. Stout LOST WORLDS 3.0+ Black Horsehide, Nickel Talon Zipper, Deerskin Neck Trim, Adjustable Back Buckle. It just breathes Harley. Excellent trim, detailing and craftsmanship.

Brand New Sample of our EASY RYDER MOTORCYCLE JACKET, S (only), in unique USAF NOS 100% Sage Sateen Cotton, Flame-Retardant, Waterproof.  Lined in Waterproof Military OD Cotton. This was from the first generation of our export Sage Sateen Cotton Easy Ryders, featuring contrasting stitching per customer request. A fully featured, highest performance textile riding jacket incorporating all features of the LOST WORLDS Easy Ryder. Talon and Scovill Brass Zippers (Optional Neck Chain). For the guy who wants to ride in warmer weather or warmer climes in a LOST WORLDS motorcycle jacket.

A-2 Flight Jacket for Spring/Fall done in 100% Cotton Corduroy, 100% Cotton Lining, 100% Wool Knit, US-made Swift Zipper. One of the many small production wholesale items we've made over the years. All are interesting , detailed and made to our usual standard.

This was our top-of-the-line, no expense-spared REVERSIBLE TANKER JACKET, done in genuine British 100% Ventile Cotton, renowned for wet and wind performance. Military Lime Green Nylon Ripstop complemented the subtle green tones in the Khaki Ventile. Few were ever made due to cost. In Japan this is now a collector's item! Just a great LOST WORLDS rarity. We still make this as a fully Custom Retail Order (and it's even more expensive now.)

In 1998 we did a small export run of LOST WORLDS TANKER Jackets for a Japanese mens chain. We spared no expense in materials at the customer's request to produce a unique version of this classic WWII icon. For the shell -- 100% Cotton Twill or Bush Poplin (as avail>0, Khaki. The lining -- genuine 100% OD Camel Hair Wool. The knit -- benchmark exclusive LOST WORLDS 100% OD Wool. Vintage Brass Swift Zipper. Through the years we've made these as Custom Orders for the few who knew of the initial small production. This is a beautiful, useful, masculine gem of a jacket, bargain-priced.
 

Many moons back we designed these striking and unique RYDER II 2-Tone Horsehide Jackets for a Japanese chain that requested a LOST WORLDS exclusive to fit gals and pre-teen guys and comfortably fitting into any period niche 1940s-70s! We just found a small quantity during inventory and are "pushing them out the door" at bargain prices because we don't sell to gals and pre-teen guys, alas. These are impeccable little gems, selling way below our mfg. cost, that will draw admiring stares and questions whenever and wherever. Genuine LOST WORLDS Horsehide, 100% Nylon Satin Lining, Brass US Zippers. Great gift.

In 1995 we did a Custom version of the classic WWII USN DECK JACKET for Japanese customers. The original Deck Jacket was constructed of Navy Blue Bedford Cloth (Cotton) with a pure Wool Kersey Lining, Wool Knit and "Galoshes" Clip Closures. We substituted our stout LOST WORLDS Black Horsehide for the Bedford Cloth and retained everything else in the design (although the original had Navy Wool Kersey). For the label we chose a genuine 1940s Rayon "Flamingo" example to keep the period flavor. This was a very expensive jacket 15+ years ago. At $400.00 these are priced below our mfg. cost even back then! Beautiful, unique, unknown LOST WORLDS jackets. We found several in each size 34, 36, 38, 40. Very special bargains, unduplicated anywhere.
 

This Brand New, 2011 Custom-Made DOWNTOWN BLACK HORSEHIDE CAR COATS, 44 Long is avail. @ 20% Discount under the Custom cost. Body Length:  33.5".  Sleeve Length: 37". All reg. production, perfect DOWNTOWN materials but Longs are always Custom Orders. One of our signature coats and a great find for a guy  6'3" - 6.5", 210-235 lbs. on average.
