Our Horsehide Leather Courier Bag has been so well-received by customers as original, striking and useful that guys frequently find it permanently borrowed by spouses and girlfriends. Some gals then asked us to design a Courier that had all the performance and visual appeal of the Horsehide version but would be lighter in weight and a little less macho.

We thought it was an excellent request as well as an interesting challenge -- how to preserve LOST WORLDS functionality and durability while satisfying women customers with a bag suited especially for them.

We needed a non-leather material that was strong, beautiful and up to LOST WORLDS standards of uniqueness and dash. We Vintage Tapestry and Upholstery Fabrics. Visually stunning, strictly limited in quantity to what we could unearth -- the cache of exclusivity -- but wedded to our Butt Horsehide Courier frame construction for the best of both worlds, beauty and performance. Fashion and function. When we run out of one Tapestry yardage, we'll find another, but none will duplicate previous offerings because these are in very limited footage. So what the customer's getting is, in fact, one-of-several-made period. No chance of anyone else coming down the street with one!

Using materials and hardware that exceed anything virtually at any price for exclusivity and strength. Made of course by us at our own NYC factory. It doesn't look like any other bag because it isn't like any other bag. Drawing on our visual savvy and refined to levels of hipness the flavor-of-the-month trendy bags can't touch. And at a great price for this level of specification and quality.

SHELL AND INTERIOR POCKET constructed of genuine NEW OLD STOCK VINTAGE TAPESTRY and UPHOLSTERY Cotton/Rayon Fabrics. Beautiful, unique and durable.

HANDLES/SIDE FRAME/BASE/ADJUSTABLE STRAP/STRAP LOOPS of genuine vegetable-tanned AMERICAN HORSE BUTT -- the identical leather in $600+ Shell Cordovan Shoes like Alden. As tough as any leather ever made.

Genuine NOS Coats & Clark (Crown) #9 Brass Zipper. The best designed and operating zippers ever, dating to 1960s. Peerless action and jewel-like machining. Sought after by collectors. Genuine NOS Scovill Brass #45 Pocket Zipper, dating to 1960s. As good as it gets. No Asian zippers on this gem -- and the zippers are intrinsic to the performance. American through and through.
100% Brass Snap Locks and O-Rings.
